Red Bull Crashed Ice Hits Niagara Falls

For the first time, Niagara Falls will be playing host to one of the most incredibly sporting events to ever happen. On December 1st, 2012, Niagara Falls will be the first stop of the Red Bull Crashed Ice Tour. What is this event your asking? Well, who better to explain it then Red Bull themselves:

“Take some of the best and toughest ice-hockey players in the world, a sizzling atmosphere, stunning surroundings, tonnes of steel, a huge cooling system and thousands of square metres of frozen water. The result? Red Bull Crashed Ice!”

And while it sounds like it couldn’t get any better, give this event the majestic backdrop of the Niagara Falls and you’ll have an experience you’ll be sharing for a lifetime.

The 2013 race calendar will start with the opening event in Niagara Falls. The tour then continues through the United States, Russia, Switzerland, and end with the big finale in Quebec City. Making this event even more Canadian is the fact that World Champion Kyle Croxall, from Mississauga, ON, will be defending his title against the best the world has to offer.

For exact details on event packages, check back later this month. Red Bull has stated that tickets may not go on sale till October 30th. Check the official tour website for more information.
